Greenfield Middle School

Cajon Valley Union School District

Greater durability and lower construction costs are the conceptual foundation for this budget-friendly design to upgrade Greenfield Middle School. Creatively utilizing tilt-up concrete construction, S+W was able to maximize local bond funding while expanding this older existing campus. The result? A 40,000 SF structure with modernized functionality affecting all aspects of campus life: a new 500 seat theater, a CIF-sized gymnasium with locker rooms, administrative offices, a music rehearsal room, six permanent classrooms, a food-service kitchen and a covered lunch court that seats 450. A resounding success, the new facility provides much-needed curriculum space for high-capacity functions, along with the flexibility to meet future growth.

“Sprotte-Watson became my “Firm of Choice” because of their past and reoccurring excellent level of service. They have greatly contributed to the successful completion of multiple Modernization and New Construction Projects for CVUSD totaling in excess of $80 million.

They highly regard districts as “Valued Clients” and their constant focus is the “Best Interest of the District”. Patty Sprotte is the firm’s primary liaison with client districts. Her ability to work well with others, her honesty and professionalism are exemplary. She would be an invaluable asset to any district’s Facility Program.”
