Breathing new life into an exhausted 60-year old vocational arts facility — and sparking renewed creativity for staff and students. That was the goal of a much-needed redesign that transformed “Building 700” into a new Art and Media Complex. S+W’s major modifications included: adding video production and photography studios, creating a computer lab, and building an addition for exterior ceramics with kilns and lockers. The end result? This reimagined facility helps students better prepare for the future in well-equipped, technology updated, adaptable learning spaces, allowing them to pursue internships, post-secondary education and employment opportunities.
